Creativ Company Carabiners| Jewellery Making Elements

A practical metal carabiner is a pretty clasp for finishing off homemade creations.

Carabiners give your finished creations a professional look. There are several ways to mount a carabiner. The classic solution is to fit an O-ring in the small eye of the lock, and use an O-ring that the lock itself can open and close around. To install the clasp, use different types of jewellery pliers.

With carabiners in your creativity box, you can create many different pieces of jewellery, and creations that express your own personal style:.

• For example, make pom-poms out of yarn, and use them to create the softest keyring that can decorate your bag or bundle of keys
• Create cosy but spooky scenes by making glowing Halloween monsters, using reflective foil that you can attach to your school bag
• Weave your own bead bracelet, combining the most beautiful colours to create a unique pattern

.

When you make your own bracelets, earrings and necklaces, you must decide how you want to finish the jewellery so that you can close it. For this, a carabiner a great choice, as you can easily attach it to the end of your jewellery with an o-ring. But of course, remember to mount an end cap on the other end of the jewellery – so that the carabiner has something to grip when you close your jewellery. If you want to try something other than a carabiner, you can always choose a spring lock which is mounted in the same way. Jewellery clasps with magnets are also a different way of closing your jewellery. See our wide range of end caps, including carabiners, which are available in many different colours, shapes and sizes.
