Creativ Company Fine Clay Polymer| Clay For A Kiln

Soft and flexible clay that you can use to make jewellery pendants, beads, figures and decorations. For example, mix with other colours and create your own shades. Hardens in the oven.

Polymer clay is a type of clay that’s super-easy to model with. The consistency is soft and supple, making it easy to get good results as a beginner. Before you start modelling, knead the clay for 4–5 minutes – and if you want to make your own colour shades, simply mix the clay together. When you have finished sculpting, harden your finished piece in a preheated oven at 120 degrees (max. 140 degrees). Baking time: a minimum of 18 minutes, but this depends a lot on the thickness of your piece. Allow to cool completely for 2–3 hours. Wash your hands when you’re finished. Important: The clay must be baked correctly if your work is to be strong, durable and beautiful. If your oven is too hot, or if you leave it in there too long, the clay will become discoloured. Remember: Store the clay in an airtight container, such as a zip-lock bag or a jar with a lid.

If you want to create unique pieces of polymer clay, you can try different creative options:.

• Make pretty patterns in the clay with modelling tools
• Sculpt organic shapes using cookie cutters
• Produce beautiful effects in the clay, such as marbling or terrazzo
