Creativ Company Rocaille Seed Beads| Beads

Small, coloured glass beads that are great for homemade jewellery. Use them for necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more .

For example, you can thread the rocaille seed on an elastic cord, jewellery wire or strong jewellery thread. Just remember that the thickness of the beading needle, as well as the cord or thread, needs to match the hole size of the beads. When weaving, for example, you’ll often need to string two strands of thread through each bead..

Rocaille seed beeds are perfect for lots of types of creative projects. For example, use them for:.

• Unique bead jewellery: Combine the rocaille seed beads with other beads of different shapes and colours – such as freshwater pearls, plastic beads and shaped beads – to create your own personal bead jewellery.
• Bead frames: String rocaille seed beads to create a lovely frame around a picture in a scrapbook, on a birthday card or an invitation.
• Decorative details: During holidays such as Christmas and Easter, which typically offer lots of possibilities for cutting and pasting projects, you can use rocaille seed beads as decorative details on Easter eggs or traditional Danish ‘snowdrop letters’.

.

These small, round glass beads (also called seed beads) have a long tradition that can be traced back to historical times. Apart from different types of jewellery, these beads are also used to decorate costumes in various cultures around the world. They add wonderful charm to simple bracelets and necklaces. They’re also perfect for woven and stitched jewellery or borders
